Horse Provided Lessons
For students who don’t have their own horse, or need a specific horse to accomplish their individual goals, HH has a herd on stand by available. Our horses vary in age, training level, size, and personality which allows us to pair almost every rider with an equine partner they can grow and be successful with.

Beginner
$75.00/hour
Our beginner western lessons are the perfect place for riders of all ages to start their horsemanship journey from! Each session is designed to help new riders build confidence, learn safety, practice good husbandry, and have fun exploring the possibilities in the world of horses.
We provide a gentle, well trained, horse for every lesson and work with our students to create equine teams that will meet their goals. This allows our riders to focus on learning during lessons that include both mounted and unmounted activities. Our students should not expect to ride every time they come to the barn. Good riders are made in and out of the saddle and become better equestrians by spending equal amounts of time doing both. You can expect to learn how to groom, tack up, and do basic ground work as well as balancing in the saddle, clear communication with your horse, steering, basic riding cues, and overall body awareness in the saddle.
Our goal is to help you feel comfortable and capable around horses regardless of the situation and set a foundation you can build on as a rider no matter what your future looks like. Whether your goal is to tackle the trails or chase down cows one day, these beginner lessons are the first step to becoming a horseman or woman!
Intermediate
$85.00/hour
Ready to take your riding to the next level? Our intermediate western lessons are designed for riders who have the basics down and are ready to build confidence, skill, and connection with their horse.
Each session includes both mounted and unmounted activities that focus on building communication, control, and feel. Riders can expect to develop better balance and timing in the saddle while learning transitions, circles, lateral movements, and core control. On the ground we’ll expand your horsemanship through building trust, reading your horses’ body language, and fine-tuning your partnership.
A horse fitting your skill set will be provided for every lesson, although they will often change depending on what that days focus is. Whether your goal is to ride with more precision, prepare for a show, or simply strengthen your horsemanship these lessons will help you grow with confidence.
Advanced
$95.00/hour
For riders ready to refine their skills and work towards specific goals, our advanced lessons offer focused, personalized instruction built around and for you.
These sessions combine mounted and unmounted work to help riders sharpen their techniques, improve timing and polish maneuvers. Depending on your goals, lessons can cover topics like; advanced body control, collection, lead changes, pattern work, cattle work, obstacles, and competition preparation.
Whether your sights are on the show pen, mastering a new maneuver, handling cattle, or exploring the full potential of horses, we’re here to help you with every step along the way.
